Cherokee County Cogeneration Partners L.P. (FPL Energy)Cherokee County Cogeneration Gaffney, South Carolina 80 MWe (net) natural gas fired combined cycle combustion turbine power plant and associated facilities for ammonia absorption refrigeration, ice-production and storage, and liquefied natural gas (LNG) production. Harris Group provided owner's engineering services, detailed engineering, startup and commissioning support for the balance of plant portion of this project. The project includes a 60 MW GE PG6001FA gas turbine generator, a three pressure level heat recovery steam generator (HRSG), a 26 MW Condensing steam turbine generator with two uncontrolled extractions and a three-cell mechanical draft evaporative cooling tower. |
