Fort Morgan Compressor Station Expansion

Fort Morgan, Colorado

A compressor station expansion consisting of one (1200 HP) high-speed engine/ reciprocating compressor package complete with integral engine/ gas cooler. The station is part of a gas storage facility designed for seasonal injection and withdrawal requirements and is located near Fort Morgan, Colorado. Project scope included upgrades of the existing electrical system and modifications to the plant fuel gas system, as well as the compressor station.

Pipeline Integrity Projects


Harris Group provided engineering design support of El Paso's western region pipeline integrity program, having an annual budget of more than $25 million/year. Scope included right of way, code compliance, environmental, and operations support for assigned line segments in the El Paso system. Tasks included pipeline design, estimating, scheduling, coordination, preparation of construction bid documents, and construction management. Work also included all new and replacement mainline pipe, launcher and receiver sites, mainline valves, station bypasses, crossovers, barred tees, and ROW drawings. Typical line sizes are 20" through 36", at MAOPs of 800 to 1200 psig.

Kim Compressor Station


Grassroots facility consisting of two Ariel JGC-4 compressor driven by Caterpillar 3616 TALE engines (4000 HP each). Station design includes concrete compressor and auxiliary buildings, premanufactured electrical/controls building, field instruments, station flow measurement, standby and UPS power, compressed air system and all other required utilities.
